South Wales Police will shortly be advertising for PSC Summer Placement Contact Officer roles.  Will be opening the application process from 14th October 2024.

We are looking for individuals to #JoinUs as a PSC Contact Officer during our busy summer demand period May to September 2025.

  • 5th May to 31st August 2025. 

    Or

  • 9th June– 30th September 2025.
  • The Public Service Centre is housed in Police HQ, Bridgend and is open 24/7 answering all contacts from the public of South Wales. The primary function of this role is to deal with calls from the public requesting updates on ongoing incidents or dealing with queries that may require signposting, wherever possible providing a resolution at first point of contact. The role is based on the delivery of a high-quality service after receiving professional training which will equip the post holder to meet the needs and expectations of our communities.  

    This role will offer you the exciting opportunity to work with our dynamic teams, delivering a vital interface between our communities and South Wales Police whilst gaining valuable work experience in policing.
