Thank you for responding to our survey.

South Wales Police are aware of concerns around Cycling on pedestrian areas – notably on QUEEN ST, CARDIFF.

Many of these riders are from Delivery Firms.

South Wales Police in conjunction with Council City Centre Management have held several engagement events with these Firms and their riders.

These are aimed at educating them around road safety and cycling restrictions in the City Centre.

South Wales Police and City Centre wardens now undertake weekly enforcement for those cyclists continuing to breach the no cycling zone.

Offending cyclists are then issued a fine via a fixed penalty notice system.

The Police and the Council will continue to work together to improve safety in pedestrianised area through continued education and enforcement.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Mae Heddlu De Cymru yn ymwybodol o bryderon ynghylch Beicio ar ardaloedd cerddwyr - yn enwedig ar QUEEN ST, CAERDYDD.

Mae llawer o'r beicwyr hyn yn dod o Gwmnïau Cyflenwi.

Mae Heddlu De Cymru ar y cyd â Rheoli Canol Dinas y Cyngor wedi cynnal sawl digwyddiad ymgysylltu gyda'r Cwmnïau hyn a'u beicwyr.

Nod y rhain yw eu haddysgu ynghylch cyfyngiadau diogelwch ffyrdd a beicio yng nghanol y ddinas.

Mae wardeiniaid Heddlu De Cymru a chanol y ddinas bellach yn cymryd camau gorfodi wythnosol ar gyfer y beicwyr hynny sy'n parhau i dorri'r parth dim beicio.

Yna bydd beicwyr sy'n troseddu yn cael dirwy drwy system hysbysiad cosb benodedig.

Bydd yr Heddlu a'r Cyngor yn parhau i weithio gyda'i gilydd i wella diogelwch mewn ardaloedd i gerddwyr trwy addysg a gorfodaeth barhaus.
