As most of you are aware there are ongoing road works on New Road, Skewen. These road works are going to continue all the way down to possibly Neath Abbey due to upgrade/repair work of gas pipes etc. As your aware its started from top of New Road, Skewen and is a slow process involving set up  traffic lights. New Road is narrow in some places and is the main route through Skewen with business's etc including bus routes. If travelling by vehicle you may want to consider alternative routes to avoid traffic issues especially as these winter days are creeping in.
