Last week we were made aware of rogue traders who had been in Graigwen early in the month, knocking on doors offering gutter cleaning/roof repairs. Our neighbourhood team worked directly with Trading Standards and the family to obtain further information. Fortunately we were in the right place at the right time, when the traders returned to ask for more money.  The Trading Standards officer took the lead, with Police Officers present and the outcome was positive. Please be vigilant and alert if someone knocks your door asking could they carry out work, you have the right to refuse. Please report any suspicious to 101 or RCT Trading Standards.
