Thank you for responding to our survey.

We have been working hard in Cardiff Bay targeting Anti-Social Car Meets.

After repeated reports and concerns from members of the public, staff and policing concerns, we are happy to report that, an Automatic Number Plate Recognition camera (ANPR) was fitted in the car park in July.

Within the first week of the ANPR camera going live, 220 warning notices where sent out to the participants of these “meet ups” advising them, should they return, they will be issued with a fine.

Since this, there have been no reports of “car meets” at this location.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Rydym wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed yn Cardiff Bay yn targedu Car gwrthgymdeithasol yn cwrdd

Ar ôl adroddiadau a phryderon mynych gan aelodau'r cyhoedd, pryderon staff a phlismona, rydym yn hapus i adrodd bod camera Adnabod Rhifau Awtomatig (ANPR) wedi ei osod yn y maes parcio ym mis Gorffennaf, drwy waith partneriaeth ag ASDA.

O fewn wythnos gyntaf y camera ANPR yn mynd yn fyw, 220 o hysbysiadau rhybuddio lle caiff eu hanfon at gyfranogwyr y "cyfarfodydd" hyn yn eu hysbysu, pe baent yn dychwelyd, byddant yn cael dirwy.

Ers hyn, ni fu unrhyw adroddiadau o "gyfarfod ceir" yn y lleoliad hwn.
