We work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across an area of about 800 square miles from Swansea to Merthyr Tydfil to our capital city, Cardiff. It’s a job but where no two days are the same – and it offers a variety of fulfilling and exciting career. The role can be challenging, and you will need to be resilient and resourceful, but we are here to support you. You will need to be committed to a journey that requires balancing academic requirements and a new role within a 24/7 policing service. It is a job like no other and we are looking for people with diverse skills and experiences to join our successful team. You will be required to work 24/7 shifts, including Bank Holidays and Weekends. South Wales Police recognises the importance and significance of having a diverse workforce to help enhance the capability and capacity of delivering a high-quality performance for our diverse communities. Hoffech chi gael gyrfa heb ei hail? Os felly... Ymunwch â Ni Mae Heddlu De Cymru yn dod â miloedd o bobl ynghyd sydd â'r un nod – cadw De Cymru'n ddiogel. Rydym am sicrhau mai ni yw'r gorau am ddeall ac ymateb i anghenion ein cymunedau. I wneud hyn, mae angen i'r ymgeiswyr gorau posibl o amrywiaeth eang o gefndiroedd ymuno â'n teulu plismona. Mae gyrfa mewn plismona yn gofyn am fedrusrwydd, tosturi, arweinyddiaeth, blaengaredd a gwir ddymuniad i wneud gwahaniaeth mewn cymdeithas. Rydym yn gweithio 24 awr y dydd, saith diwrnod yr wythnos, ledled ardal o tua 880 milltir sgwâr o Abertawe i Ferthyr Tudful i'n prifddinas, Caerdydd. Mae'n swydd lle mae pob diwrnod yn wahanol – ac mae'n cynnig amrywiaeth o gyfleoedd gyrfa gwerth chweil a chyffrous. Gall y rôl fod yn un heriol, a bydd angen i chi fod yn wydn a dyfeisgar, ond rydym yma i'ch cefnogi. Bydd angen i chi fod yn ymrwymedig i daith sy'n gofyn am gydbwyso gofynion academaidd a rôl newydd mewn gwasanaeth plismona 24/7. Mae'n swydd heb ei thebyg ac rydym yn chwilio am bobl â sgiliau a phrofiadau amrywiol i ymuno â'n tîm llwyddiannus. Bydd yn ofynnol i chi weithio shifftiau 24/7, gan gynnwys ar Wyliau'r Banc ac ar Benwythnosau. Mae Heddlu De Cymru yn cydnabod pwysigrwydd ac arwyddocâd cael gweithlu amrywiol er mwyn helpu i ehangu ein gallu a'n capasiti i gyflwyno perfformiad o ansawdd uchel i'n cymunedau amrywiol. I gyrraedd uchelgais yr Heddlu o fod y gorau am ddeall ac ymateb i anghenion ein cymunedau, mae ein Tîm Gweithredu Cadarnhaol ar gael i ateb unrhyw ymholiadau ac i roi cymorth i unrhyw ymgeisydd o gymunedau ethnig lleiafrifol. Ar gyfer unrhyw unigolion sy'n nodi eu bod yn Ddu, Asiaidd ac Ethnig Lleiafrifol, neu Unrhyw Gefndir Gwyn arall, bydd digwyddiad ymgyfarwyddo yn cael ei gynnal ar 27 a 28 Awst gyda'r nos (yng Nghaerdydd ac Abertawe).
