Behind the Bars


As the school year draws to a close, we are excited to announce a series of events at Roath Police Station this summer.

As local residents, we wanted to give you the first opportunity to be involved

 

Discover over 150 years of policing history in Cardiff with a 'behind the bars' tour of Roath Police Station.

 

This summer, step into Roath Police Station and discover over 150 years of policing heritage with a behind the bars tour.

Journey through two centuries of history, immerse yourself in stories from both sides of the bars, discover what life was like for those who lived in this area of Cardiff, and what it was like for those who found themselves locked up within these walls.

 

Roath Police Station is a Victorian Police Station, constructed in 1872 it continues to serve the community to this day.

Visits include a tour of the Victorian cell block which was used up until 2004.

 

Located on Clifton Street, Adamsdown, Cardiff.

Street parking available.
