Anti-Social Behaviour

Anti- Social behaviour is an issue that affects people of all ages and is one of our priority areas of action.

 

Between 1st May 2024 - 31st May 2024  Police have received 15 Reports of ASB.

Action Taken: 10 ASB referrals have been submitted by Police and subjects have been identified.

 

Thefts  

If you have witnessed or been the victim of crime, please report it to us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

 

Between 1st May 2024 - 31st May 2024   Police have received 20 Reports of Theft.

Action Taken: 

7 Subjects have been identified, Arrested, and charged.

3 Subjects received a community resolution.

1 Subject has been recalled to prison.

1 Theft is under investigation.

4 Anti-social behaviour referrals have been submitted. 

X2 Organised Crime groups are currently under investigation with South Wales Police. (A group of people involved in serious criminal activities for substantial profit)

 

Substances 

Between 1st May 2024 - 31st May 2024   Police have received 1 Report of Drugs.

1 Drug Related Report (stop searched) 

 

Parking Issues

Between 1st May 2024 - 31st May 2024 Police have received 0 Reports of Parking issues

 

Police action would only be taken should the vehicle be completely blocking the pavement and effecting the reporting person directly. 

Any lines and signs parking issues for example parking on double yellow lines should be reported to the Highways department in the council on the below link.

Focus for this month - 

Patrols will be carried out as usual in the area and should any police related issues come from the public it will be dealt with accordingly.

 

Please encourage residents to report incidents through 101 by phone or alternatively email swp101@south-wales.police.uk as I understand the line can get very busy and always dial 999 in an emergency.
