Positive Action

Hello,

Following reports from partner agencies of several incidents of anti-social behaviour. Officers have been maintaining a focus on the Ynys Close area of Rhydyfelin.

On Monday 23rd September officers have dealt with several matters where two persons were issued with ASB referrals, words of advice were issued in relation to shouting in the street, two uninsured vehicles were removed from the street, warning issued over fire hazard of storing items in a communal hallway and one male was arrested for a public order offence.

Officers have returned to the area today for continued reassurance to the community.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response?

You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
